Merredin Power Station
About The Project
The Merredin Energy Power Station is an 82MW plant consisting of 2 GE frame 6B gas turbines operating in open cycle configuration.
The $93 million open cycle power station operates as a peaking station to support the South-West Interconnect System (SWIS) at peak periods, especially when WA is experiencing extremely hot weather or gas supply disruptions.
